Serving size: 12 mini quiches

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Roll out the pastry crust on a floured surface and use a cookie cutter or a glass to cut out circles that are slightly larger than the cups of a muffin tin.
  3. Press the circles of pastry into the muffin cups, making sure they are pressed firmly against the bottom and sides.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs, heavy cream, milk, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  5. Add any chopped vegetables, cooked bacon, sausage, or ham to the egg mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Pour the egg mixture into the pastry cups, filling them about 3/4 of the way full.
  7. Bake the mini quiches for 20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and the egg filling is set.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Beginner Tips:

  • Make sure the pastry circles are large enough to fit the muffin cups, but not too large that they hang over the edges.
  • You can use any type of vegetables or meats that you like for the filling, but make sure they are cooked before adding them to the egg mixture.
  • If you don't have a cookie cutter or a glass, you can use a knife to cut out circles of pastry.
